"The Resident Evil Saga: A New Age, The Eyes of The Umbrella Corporation",

A Harrowing, Gothic Post-Apocalyptic Fan-made Cinematographic Poster Series as Illustrated, Rendered and Conceptualistically Designed By Marla Antonella Gómez Carrillo.
I have always been intrinsically fascinated by the breadth of complexity that post-apocalyptic and historical fiction stories with a much deeper and complex infrastructure of details and debates of biomedicinal and psychological contexts can bring to the storytelling landscape. From cinematographic, videographic and narrative translations of socio-political upheaval, to the ever growing global and social dynamics that can come to establish themselves in moments of tremendous concern and crisis, stories with undead creatures have always held a special place for sociopolitical, demographic and  humoristic commentaries on the state of our society as well as in regards to how human beings are the only creatures that are capable of concocting the means for their own destruction. The notions of apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic fiction are denominators more commonly associated with the lense of scientific and biomedical fiction within a series of depictions of disastrous anthropological, clinical, global and sociopolitical affectations in the fictional and real world landscapes. There are to be additional multilateral subgenres of scientific fiction whihc can be conceptualized as organically portraying the devastation of Earth (as well as extra-terrestrial civilizations) or in the moment of their collapse. Additionally, the apocalyptic event in of itself or the inciting incident for the preparation and unravelling of a third or fifth-act story structure may attributed to several factors, such as runaway climate change, astronomical and inter-planetary collisions, asteroid crashes, impact events, resource scarecity and depletion, endemics and pandemics be it naturally or synthetically caused, nuclear holocausts or any additional outcome by which the collapse of a society's economy, resources, political structure and educational systems can have an apocalyptic outcome, cybernetic or transhumanistic revolts, technological and artificial intelligence uprisings, dysgenics and Eldritch extra-terrestrial invasions. Such works of fiction, oftentimes feature the loss of a multi-faceted and global perspective as the protagonists oftentimes find themselves as roamers from the very initial stages of their heroes' journey with limited knowledge of the outside world or considerably limited means of survival. Furthermore, they are usually left to oftentimes explore a world in which cutting-edge technological advancements are only accesible to the highest societal castes and elite whose rapid progress may come to greatly overwhelm the commmon individual as human brains have not been adapted to this new-found vision of contemporary society but have rather evolved to best navigate questions that have become largely passé or irrelevant such as those of immediate physical threats and the preservation of common societal rituals and behaviors. These works of literary intrigue additionally depict worlds of less technological grandeur and complexity and more direct and evolutionary contact as human beings are forced to recur to their most primal instincts for their survival. In accordance to this theoretical postulation, Professor Barry Brumett exprsses that it is most often the concept of destructive change that ignites a greater semblance of public interest in various audience demographics and readership archetypes.

These subgeneres are more commonly studied by the social and anthropological sciences and may provide invaluable potential insights into the fears of the collective unconcious. The subject of this particular composition is the titular character of "Alice Abernathy" from the eponymous "Resident Evil Film Saga" which is loosely based upon the video game series of the same name who was portrayed by Ukranian actress; Mila Jovovich whose widely beloved and extraordinary on-screen talent is  known by way of critically acclaimed science-fiction and psychological suspense cinematographic projects such as "The Fifth Element" and "The Fourth Kind."
FINALIZED COMPOSITION ENTITLED "THE EYES OF THE UMBRELLA CORPORATION AS ILLUSTRATED AND PHOTOMANIPULATED BY MARLA ANTONELLA GÓMEZ CARRILLO."
"When Alice first started her journey, she was alone in every sense of the word. Now, wherever she looks and on every street corner, she now knows that she never will be. The evil that has hunted her down for decades never really died, and neither did she."."
